Uncertain.... the feeling is that between total exasperation and hope. Realising that one's potential may or may not come in handy to tackle the situation at hand. Given the choice, I shall rather give the job of decision making to an Expert than myself.
Joy.... can't see the reason why I am writing this. Joyous for a reason. Can't help myself, for the position I'm in - perplexed with anxiety.
Advices flowing in, can't drink any.
Choices lay themselves in view, can't see any.
I go the way my heart leadth.
Its a blindfold. And I shall Unveil it.
P.S: Comment

Tagged at last!
Here is the reply to Priya's tag; Thought it would be boring but seemes interesting as I started doing it:
*Last movie you saw in a theater - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Good movie in terms of Sets and camera, and some comedy scenes.

*What book are you reading - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho..

*Favorite board game - My favorite would be Scrabble, then there is the native game of Kavidi played with shells and stones..
*Favorite smells - the aroma of fried fish.. preferably Karimeen pollichath(Pearl spot flamed)..

*Favorite sound - Back in Mysore, my day begins with the record " Thava Suprabhatham" by M.S Subbalakshmi.. I am quite fond of the whooshing sound produced by the tires on wet roads.. ever heard it, if not try next time!
*Worst feeling in the world - Loneliness/Boredom/Loss... Loneliness and boredom-two feelings that are quite interconnected. Former leads to the latter.
Loss of someone, something I like jostles my mind for a pretty longer time and than usual.
*What is the first thing you think of when you wake up - Am I early?!
*Favorite fast food place - Mukund Sweets Shop,Gokulam Mysore. Excellent Bhel puri and sevv puri!!
Hari(ma bro) at Mukunds'...
*Future child's name - something that starts with letters M or N... or S.The letter A is too risky( would be probably the first ten names of roll call in the class he/she joins and that means inviting trouble!!)
*Finish this statement. "If I had a lot of money, I'd" - pick up the best cruiser bike available and go on a world trip. And when that's done, Its time for a beautiful villa on the Atlantic shore with windows overlooking the sea, where in I sit on my recliner reading some books, taking sips from a mug of Cognac or Gin. For long term, I would invest some in shares of Google.
*Do you drive fast - Do I? Well, hmmm... yes! I do!! And the adrenaline rush that accompanies gives me the high!
*Do you sleep with a stuffed animal - how dare someone call my brother a stuffed animal?!( We share a bed..) :)
*Storms - Cool or scary - Cool.. and specially when I'm on my cruiser..
*What was your first car- Owned?- Not one yet!
*Favorite drink - Strong tea( Canteen special :) ), Gin
*Finish this statement. "If I had the time, I would..." - waste it so that I have just the needed time for the purpose of life.. I keep my spirits high, and believe that anything and everything is achievable even if the step towards it is taken at a late hour. But the success would come only where hard work shows!
*Do you eat the stems on broccoli? - What a question! I eat everything except Cabbage..
*If you could dye your hair any color, what would be your choice? - A light brown.. preferably near ear and temple.
*Name all the different cities/towns you have lived in - Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Mysore.
*Favorite sports to watch - Football and Snooker.

*Over easy or sunny side up - Over easy.
*Favorite place to relax - My warm bed.
*Favorite pie - Greek.. sounds romantic..
*Favorite ice cream flavor - Vanilla with chocolate wafers.
Of all the people you tagged this to, who is most likely to respond first? - Wild guess, perhaps Remiletan, Bristow or Rohit..

Book Review- Swami and His Friends
Swami and his friends is an exquisite work of literature by India’s renowned writer R.K Narayan.
An amazingly fluent story line, pictured in the wonder world of Malgudi, an not-in-atlas-not-on-globe place, grips the reader's interest from the very first page.

R.K
The story, starting from the childhood chronicles of Swaminathan, then a kid of first grade, travels through a world of thoughts, that belongs to the innocent mind of Swami which clogs his path on every venture he takes up with infinite doubts and counter-questions. The description of a kid's world by an adult writer in near approximate accuracy is worth applause. Swami, shy and fearful in nature, is overcome by numerous flows of emotions in different day to day situations we often come across. The story clear casts mind’s unpredictability and a kid’s ingenuous attitude along with his sincere attempts to display equitable support to his friends who are on heated grounds.
Rajam and Mani are Swami's two inseparable-at-heart friends. The trio plan up for very many adventures, that every teenager of their age sincerely wishes to do ( if not possible in reality).

R.K Narayan sketches a world that whirls around the indecisive nature of Swaminathan, who is easily carried away by momentary notions of mind, thereby finding himself in grave peril that puts a question mark on his very existence. The story however takes an abrupt ending, much to the disappointment of the reader at a scenario of mixed feelings.
to know what adventures " Swami and his friends " got themselves into, how their bond of friendship became all-the-more strong after every enthralling event, and finally to know what happened in the climax that gets the reader in dismay, go grab this book from your library or a shop nearby, sooooooon.........

Sneak Peak-Yanthra '07
Dedication- to all the motor freaks out there..
The place Cheruthuruthi is about 30 kms from Trichur, nearer to Vadakkancheri and Shornur. Located amidst the blissful scenery and in the lap of mother nature, is Jyothi Engineering College.
Today, on 8Th December, Rohit and me visited this college and its gigantic campus, to witness the technical exhibition by the Mechanical students of this college- YANTHRA 07. Primo facto for such a trip was the rumor that the meanest of the mean machines- Hummer H3 is at exhibit there.
I had been to Palakkad yesterday, to get a glimpse of my niece( yes I'm an uncle, to eight kids!!) who had just come down from Chennai. She's just over an year old, a chubby little being.
Later at night, plans were made to attend Yanthra the next day. I started off from Palakkad earlier this morning. As against my belief and to utter bewilderment, the National Highway connecting Trichur and Palakkad had been patched up, and the journey, that used to take 4 hours to travel just over 60kms,briefed to a mere one hour.
Soon after reaching home, i set out to meet Rohit and off we were to Jyothi. Climate being surprisingly pleasant at the pitch of the day, we cruised and reached at about 2p.m in Cheruthuruthi.
The quiz contest which we had plans of competing in, was scheduled at around that time, and, soon after finishing and returning the paper the same way as it was given to us... neat, clean and blank :), we paced up to see the exhibits.
The whole display had been categorised into Bikes and Cars section separately, and our primary initiative was to visit the former.
There was a long array of modified bikes, opallargely Pulsars converted to R1's and Hayabusas, without a trace of its actual self. For a moment, even i was convinced that the mo bike in front of me was the real Suzuki Hayabusa. Check out this pic before you exclaim.
There were more bikes and a few of them were really drop-dead gorgeous!
The Cars section, apart from the Hummer H3, had a Pajero for display, though the crowd was chiefly hovering around the former. As expected, the stupendous Hummer H3 was grandiose in appearance, imported from Dubai as the number plate read, and gleaming in bright yellow paint. Oodles of volunteers crowded around to keep the viewers from prying nearer.
Took some pictures of the Hummer and moved ahead for a view of Pajero. Though Pajeros are becoming increasingly common in our land, its still worth an eyeful to stand there and praise the sheer effort and excellence of people behind the creation of this magnificient vehicle, the 4x4 that rules the dunes.
Then there was the technical exhibition of the Electronics department of the college- Magnum Opus.
Surprisingly small as I am to admit, there weren't many attractions and it was largely an assortment of hardware stuff, from valve radios to DVD writer lenses.
The only exhibit that I was amused by is this:
Developed indigenously, this pic programmer could accommodate a number of various PICs with varying number of leads, and the only drawback was the lack of support for Atmel.
Front lawn of the college, if I may call it so!!
To sum up, i was thoroughly pleased by the college and its vast campus, a little less so by the exhibition. Sorry guys, it could have been better!!

'Dam!!' Its Gorgeous!! Peechi dam, Thrissur
Peechi Dam( Reservoir) provides for the water supply to more than half the population of Thrissur district. Thanks to the Weather phenomena happening some where in Indonesia, the state of Kerala has been receiving heavy rains for the last 10 days. The water level in the dam has reached the apex thus making it essential to lift its "shutters", which control the level of water stored in the reservoir.
We, a gang of 12, took this as an opportunity to relish in the lap of nature overlooking the region surrounding the dam. Cars, belonging to Rohit and Bristow were arranged for immediately, and congested though we were, made it to Peechi which was roughly 17kms from Thrissur City.
It was drizzling as we reached Peechi. We approached the location directly over the shutter where from one could actually feel the rumble of water gushing savagely through a narrow gap of 20 Inches to the surface 50 feet+ below. It was definitely a view of a lifetime seeing the water in the adjacent reservoir touching maximum level for the first time in 20-25 years. I remembered Samuel Taylor Coleridge's words,"Water water everywhere, not a drop to drink" as in this case we could not reach the actual water body because of restrictions by the authorities.:)

It was followed by a hike into jungle nearby. We went on narrow forest paths, where on only one person can walk abreast, all the time awestruck by the sheer power of water, the force of which hitting rock bottom was deafening. Our trek through the jungle came to an end at a small rivulet where in we halted and took rest. It was getting dark(6.30p.m) and they say, in jungle night falls even before one realises. :)
The trek was loaded with many funny instances of people quoting doubts on a small motion in the nearby bush mistaking it to be snakes and all. We soon returned back to Civilisation and made our way to the bottom of the fall.Jets of water formed mist all around upon meeting with the base ground and it was a wonderful feeling relinquishing all worries of the day and letting mind float over the beautiful waves that were being created and destroyed every moment.
Kerala is truly, the God's own Country.
Everyone chose to stay for the night at my place upon compulsion. Ramakrishnan was given birthday bumps at 0000hrs as he is turning 19 today. As always, we sat around debating on a field of common interest and the talks went on till 2 in the morning when we called it a "day" and went to sleep.
It was one rare experience all together and a real nice getaway from our busy schedules in and after college :).

Bheja Fry: Scintillating Comedy; Meaningful Notions
i had an opportunity to watch the Hindi movie- 'Bheja Fry' y'day.
Pictured on the high income groups of the society, the film provides an exampli Gratia of the degrading moral values and ethics. The movie clear casts the fact that money isn't just everything that can add flavour to one's life.

Though the topics dealt may seem pretty serious, the presentation of the movie is simply hilarious. The movie is an exquisite example of how humour can be used to present the gravest of matters.
This movie,as I feel, is a must-watch for every single person entrapped in the busy urban life.
